Women's History Month

View or download an interesting and colorful six-page flyer about Women's History Month that has an array of information, including the history of the holiday.  Page two has A Timeline of "Firsts" by Women -- accomplishments by notables such as Betsy Ross, Harriet Tubman, Pearl S. Buck, Sandra Day O'Connor, and many more great women who changed history. The bibliography on pages three through six features materials that are available for check-out from the Broward County Library's adult, juvenile, and kids collections. Links have been inserted on the bibliography to easily place a hold for any of the featured items when viewing the flyer online. The bibliography highlights just a few of the many materials available at BCL about women throughout history, past and present.
