You can view the news release database using one or more parameters to narrow your search. All search parameters are optional. The search options include:

• Topic - Narrow your search by entering all or part of a news release "headline" or "subheadline" in the Topic field.
• From Date/To Date - Search the database for a certain time period (e.g. January 2008) by entering a one or two digit month, day, and a four digit year (e.g. From 1/1/2008 To 1/31/2008). You can enter the date yourself, or select it by clicking on the calendar icon to the right of the field.
• Year - If you want to view all releases for a specific year, you can select the year, or choose All Years, from the drop down menu.
• Type – Types of news posted to this site include : News Release, Media Advisory, Photo Opportunity, Tropical Storm Advisory, or Hurricane Advisory. You can search the database for a specific "type" of news release, or select "All Types."
• Keywords - Search the database by selecting one or more "keywords" from the scroll list. To select a keyword, simply click on the word. To select more than one "keyword," press "Ctrl" on your keyboard and, while holding the “Ctrl” key down, click on each keyword you want to select. Selected keywords will be highlighted.
• Category - Current categories of releases include All Releases, Airport Releases and All Other Releases. Additional categories will be added as all County releases are transitioned into the News Center.

Once you have refined your search options, click Submit . The News Release list will be displayed.

To begin a new search, click Reset.

Please note while the News Center is undergoing a countywide transition, the viewing and search function may vary slightly based on the view you select from the left navigation.
