Facilities

Broward Facilities Maintenance Division is taking steps to maintain a germ-free environment:
All County restrooms are adequately stocked with anti-microbial soap
Restroom faucets and fixtures are frequently wiped down during the day. Restrooms, elevator buttons and other hard surfaces are sanitized nightly
Hand sanitizers are strategically located throughout County facilities
Posters from the Centers for Disease Control on the importance of hand washing are located in high-traffic areas
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport
The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is cleaning public restrooms approximately every 15 minutes with a cleaning agent designed to kill viruses.
Antibacterial soap and antimicrobial hand sanitizing dispensers are available in every restroom. Faucets and paper towel dispensers are touch free.
Airline passengers who have questions about H1N1 flu are encouraged to monitor their local news and the Web sites of local, national and international health organizations, or contact their air carrier.
Port Everglades
