An operator of a telecommunications facility as identified by the Broward County Telecommunications Ordinance shall complete the registration prior to constructing a telecommunications facility within the County’s rights-of-way. By completing and submitting the registration, the registrant agrees to abide by Article XX of Chapter 20 of the Broward County Code of Ordinances (Telecommunications Ordinance). Within 30 calendar days from receipt of a completed registration, the County will issue a written acknowledgment of the registration. The registration shall be issued for a term of one (1) year from the effective date of the acknowledgment.
Unless otherwise stated, all registrations should be sent to the Office of Information Technology with a registration filing fee of $250.00 for an initial registration or $150.00 for a registration renewal. If the registration relates to rights-of-way within the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, such registration should be sent to the Director, Business Division, Broward County Aviation Department, 320 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315. All checks shall be made payable to "Broward County Board of County Commissioners".

Permit applications for all construction within Broward County owned rights-of-way must be obtained from the Broward County Engineering Division, located at 115 S. Andrews Avenue (Governmental Center), Suite 321, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33301. If the construction will be within rights-of-way located at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, such request should be sent to the Director, Planning and Development Division Broward County Aviation Department, 320 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315.
The completed registration and filing fee should be returned to: Cable & Telecommunications Coordinator, Office of Information Technology, 540 SE 3rd Avenue, Suite 300, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33301. If the registration relates to rights-of-way within the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, such completed registration should be sent to the Director, Business Division, Broward County Aviation Department, 320 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315.
