Camping in the Parks

Broward County Parks and Recreation offers opportunities for RV, tent, Rent-A-Tent, Teepee, and primitive camping. 

All the following parks offer sites with full RV hookup, a picnic table and a charcoal grill.  These campgrounds also have a restroom/hot shower complex.  T.Y. Park's restrooms are air-conditioned.  C.B. Smith and T.Y. offer laundry rooms.

Quiet Waters Park offers Rent-A-Tent and Teepee sites along with a restroom/hot shower complex.  Each Rent-A-Tent site features a platform, tent, water, electric, a fire ring, a grill and a picnic table.  Teepee sites include a grill, a fire ring, and a picnic table.

Primitive camping for non-profit youth organizations is availble at Markham, Easterlin, C.B. Smith, T.Y., Quiet Waters, Vista View, and Deerfield Island Parks.  Restrooms are within walking distance.  No electric is provided.  Some areas provide hose bibs.

All campgrounds provide after hour security.  Two pets per campsite are allowed with proof of current vaccinations and appropriate license. Pets must be registered at check in and must be on a leash no longer than six feet at all times when not within the RV or tent.

Camping fees vary based on residency.  Advanced reservations are recommended, especially during the peak season - November to April.
