Markham Park Shelters and Playground

Seven shelters are available at Markham Park for your next picnic or event. To make sure the shelter is available on your special date, you need to reserve it in advance through the park office at 954-389-2000. Click here for fees. A cleanup/security deposit is also required on the day of use for all shelters.

Shelter One is a large-sized shelter and has a seating capacity for 80. There is no electricity but water is available and a Texas-charcoal grill is installed on site. (A Texas-charcoal grill is twice the size of a normal grill and has a flat surface.) There is ample parking for large groups.

Shelter Two is a medium-sized shelter and has a seating capacity for 60. Its location is convenient to a volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, a playground, an open field, restrooms, and has ample parking. Water and electricity are available and it includes a Texas-charcoal grill (Texas-charcoal grill is twice the size of a normal grill and has a flat surface).

Shelter Three is a medium-sized shelter that can seat 60. It is conveniently located near a volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, a playground, an open field, restrooms, and has ample parking. Water and electricity are available, and it includes a Texas-charcoal grill (Texas-charcoal grill is twice the size of a normal grill and has a flat surface).

Shelter Four is a medium-sized shelter that can accommodate 60 people sitting at picnic tables. Although water is available, there is no electricity. This shelter is near the Marina and pool complex and has a horseshoe pit nearby. Ample parking is available. A Texas-charcoal grill is installed on site. (A Texas-charcoal grill is twice the size of a normal grill and has a flat surface.)

Shelter Five is a large-sized shelter that can accommodate 80. Electricity and water are available. This shelter is conveniently located near the Marina, pool,and tennis and racquetball courts. A horseshoe pit and restrooms are nearby. Ample parking is available.
Shelter Six is a small-sized shelter that can accommodate 24 seated at picnic tables. There is no water or electricity available. A two-foot charcoal pit is installed at the shelter. This shelter is conviently located near the marina, the pool, and tennis and racquetball courts. Restrooms are nearby and there is ample parking.
Shelter Seven is a medium-sized shelter. Electricity and water are available. This shelter can accommodate 60 and is conveniently located near a volleyball court, the Marina, the pool, and tennis and racquetball courts. A Texas-charcoal grill is installed on site (a Texas-charcoal grill is twice the size of a normal grill and has a flat surface). Restrooms are nearby and there is ample parking.
