Enjoy Nature at West Lake Park

Moonlight Paddle Tour departing at 8:00 p.m. from West Lake Park. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required(for ages18+, Experienced paddlers.) Fee: $20.00 a person. Participant can request a canoe or kayak (single or double). Surround yourself with the beauty of the mangroves as you paddle the trails and open water of West Lake as the evening gives way to the night. Look for jumping fish, roosting birds and the light of the moon to enhance your journey through the estuary.

Starting May19 
Registration and pre-payment for the Sea Turtles and Their Babies program begins on May 19, 2008. Fee: $5.00 a person. The program runs every Wednesday and Friday from July 9 to September 5 with 50 participants a session. The program starts at the Anne Kolb Nature Center’s Mangrove Hall at 8 p.m. and finishes at the beach at around 9:30 p.m. Call 954-926-2410 for information.
