Walk for Wildlife Event - April 19, 2008

The weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day for bringing your pet to the park. Young and old, normal to exotic, the pets loved by their humans accompanied them to Quiet Waters Park to help raise money for the SPCA Wildlife Care Center in Fort Lauderdale.

 All ages, with or without pets, walked to benefit the SPCA Wildlife Care Center

Critters of all Types Were Brought to the Event

 Cute baby turtle  A pet skunk  Little green reptile
 a pet hedgehog  Many reptiles were riding shoulders  Many snakes were brought to the event

 Macaroni grill handed out free salad and pasta  Crepes were made to order  Oriental foods were available
 Lowes let kids build projects -- lots of hammering all day!  Tail End products were displayed  Cute dog clothes and sunglasses for sale
 Pawsch van was a pet store on wheels  Pet emergency information  Petco gave away samples and information
 English Sheepdog rescue group  Humane Society braved the sun to inform everyone about their group  Adopt a Bull Rescue was available for questions and information
 Cat rescue had kittens in the cage  Rally to the Rescue group booth  Pug rescue group
 Radio station 105.5 booth  Maui Spa in Boca shared info  Petsmart handed out pet toys and food samples
 Arfington pet Resort  Crafts and plants were available  Jewelry vendors
 SPCA Wildlife Care Center booth  Basset rescue group  Friends Inc. - a non-profit group that supports horses
