Low-Cost Vaccination Clinics Scheduled for Low-Income Pet Owners
The Broward County Animal Care and Regulation Division has scheduled five vaccination clinics for low income pet owners. No appointment is necessary. To qualify, a pet owner must meet one of the following criteria:
• Receive public assistance, AFDC, food stamps, unemployment, or workers’ compensation
• A senior citizen on Social Security falling within the Federal low-income guidelines
• Receive Social Security Income Disability
• Fall within Federal low-income guidelines based on income and family size
Must bring proof of eligibility (Social Security pay stub, Food Stamp card, AFDC stub) and your current address (utility bill, driver’s license, etc.).
All clinics are on a Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for a one-year rabies vaccination and county license is $15.00 cash only!
