PlayTrain

Dog-friendly training techniques, using positive reward-based methods that are effective and humane. Classes are fun for both dog and owner!  Modern positive training methods focus on what your dog is doing right, rather than what he is doing wrong.  No choke chains, prong collars or leash corrections are used.   The result is a dog who obeys because he knows something good will happen, not because he fears something bad will happen.  PlayTrain elicits a level of enthusiasm in your dog not possible with "jerk & choke" methods. PlayTrain Positive Dog Training offers two positive dog training classes in Markham Park.

Level One: Beginners (Saturday 9:00 a.m.)
Your dog will learn basic obedience and good manners.

Level Two: Canine Good Citizen (Call for next class)
The ten items necessary to pass the Canine Good Citizen test will be taught, and the test administered on the last class. See www.akc.org for more information on the test.

The cost for the six-week class is $125.  Dogs should be 5 months and older, handlers 16 and older.  Proof of vaccination is required.  Call 954-349-5969 to preregister.
