2008 K9 Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters Park

Lisa and Cheryl of Animal Care are happy to accept donations

October 31 and November 1, 2009, Quiet Waters Splash Adventure was open for dogs only.  Eight hundred dogs and their families came to the park to have some wet fun.  These generous dog owners provided cash, 200 pounds of dog cookies, and two cases of canned dog food for the Broward County Animal Care and Coconut Creek High teen volunteers and their teacher/sponsorRegulation shelters.  Volunteers logged in more than 88 hours by helping to check the dogs in, keeping the dogs playing in the water park, and photographing the event.  This was the ninth year for this event at Quiet Waters.  This water park is the smallest of the water parks and three sessions were completely sold out on Sunday.  Photos taken last year.
