Markham Park Target Range
The Markham Park Target Range comprises three unique shooting venues including Skeet and Trap, a Pistol/Rifle Range, and a Sporting Clays course.

The Skeet and Trap section of the range consists of five lighted combination skeet and trap fields, along with a five stand that is used as an abbreviated sporting clays practice area. Rules for Skeet and Trap Fields (PDF -172KB).
The Pistol/Rifle range consists of 66 lighted shooting stations with a two-hour maximum shooting time. Open-toed shoes (sandals, flip flops, etc.) and sleeveless shirts are not permitted on the pistol/rifle range. Rules for Rifle/Pistol Range (PDF -128KB)
Hearing and eye protection are mandatory at all ranges. Any junior shooter, ages 10-17, must shoot under the direct supervision of a paying adult.
The Target Range is closed year round on Mondays. Please check our current hours of operation before your visit.
The Sporting Clays course consists of 13 stations spread throughout the woods adjacent to the Target Range. The Sporting Clays course accepts reservations and is open on the weekends. Would you like to become a volunteer at the Sporting Clays Course? Please call the Target Range at 954-389-2005 for more information, or pick up a Volunteer application at the Target Range or park office.
Various clubs and organizations use portions of the range throughout the week to promote their particular brand of shooting, such as the Markham Skeet Trap & Sporting Clays Club; the Gold Coast Gunslingers; the Florida Speed Shooters; the Sawgrass Rifle Club; the South Florida Pistol Club; the Tropical Sport Shooting Association; and the Everglades Cap and Ball Historical Shooting Society Inc.
