Roosevelt Gardens Park

Rocking chairs on the back porch of the park buildingThis 5.06-acre neighborhood park was officially opened in November 2007. There is a 4,500-square-foot community center (capacity 191) with an assembly hall, a game room,  a warming kitchen, a computer lab, and park offices. The patio out back features full-sized rocking chairs for parents to relax and watch their children play.

Other park amenities include:

  • three playground areas (one covered)
  • two full-court basketball courts with lighting and bench seating
  • three picnic shelters (two with grills)

The park also has a concrete pathway around the park for walking, skating, or strolling. 

Roosevelt Gardens Park offers a free after-school program for neighborhood children ages 6 to 15.
