The program will feature a one-hour slide presentation and lecture covering the following topics:
• Species of sea turtles found in South Florida

• Habitat

• Breeding and nesting
• Identification of crawls and nests

• Conservation efforts

• Past exploitation
• Current management

• Problems now facing sea turtles

Immediately after the slide presentation and lecture, there will be a release of hatchlings. Admission is $5/person. Each week’s program is limited to 50 people. Bring quarters for parking meters at release sites.View printable flyer (PDF -208KB).
