Eco-Arts Craft Fair Sunday, November 22, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Recyclables and green goods abound at our Eco-arts craft fair. Come speak with our artists as they demonstrate their crafts and sell their wares. Sponsored by the Friends of Secret Woods Nature Center.
Snowflake Fun for everyone
Sunday, December 20, 2 to 4 p.m. Join us for an afternoon of fun as we hunt the tropical snowflake. Learn flakey facts and craft some of your very own to take home.
Upcoming Programs:
Krafting with Kay - Sundays, Nov. 1 and Dec. 6, 2 p.m. Join us as we explore traditional crafts in non-traditional ways. Each month experience a different craft. Preregistration is required by calling the park office at 954-791-1030. Ages 9 and up, $2 suggested donation to the Friends of Secret Woods.
Looking for Afternoon Activities for your 5 to 12 year olds? Join us for some new programs exploring art and science.
- Art Starts - Mondays, Nov. 23 and Dec. 21 at 3:30 p.m. Join us for an artistic safari exploring art techniques and animal books. Ages 5 to 10 with an adult, $3 per child. Preregistration is required by calling the park at 954-791-1030.
- Nature's Explorers - Mondays, Nov. 30 and Dec. 28 at 3:30 p.m. Dig deep into a little piece of the natural world each month with guided hands-on exploration and activities. Ages 5 to 12 with an adult, $3 per child. Preregistration is required by calling the park at 954-791-1030.
