Corridor Planning

Corridors that could benefit from redevelopment have been identified by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners. The State Road 7 plan is a collaborative initiative between local governments, businesses and citizens, which is being coordinated by South Florida Regional Planning Council. NW 27 Avenue is being studied by the Department of Urban Planning and Redevelopment, to identify potential ways to improve commercial development, aesthetically upgrade the streetscapes, and enhance compatibility with adjacent residential neighborhoods.

State Road 7
The State Road 7 Corridor Redevelopment Strategy is an initiative to assist in design issues for the widening of SR7 (U.S. 441) in Broward County. The project is being coordinated by South Florida Regional Planning Council. NW 27 Avenue
The study area extends along NW 27 Avenue from Broward Boulevard to Sunrise Boulevard, and includes the unincorporated neighborhoods of Franklin Park, Washington Park and Boulevard Gardens.
