The Program Development, Research and Evaluation Division operates within Broward County's Human Services Department.
Division Goal:
To improve human services standards of practice through a system of research, planning, submission of collaborative funding proposals, contract performance evaluation, technical assistance and training.
What Do We Do?
The Program Development Research and Evaluation Division’s functions include:

Reviewing, monitoring and evaluating the administrative competence, service delivery practices and contract compliance of human services organizations |

Identifying and incorporating, through research, best practices and innovative approaches to service delivery |

Providing training and technical assistance to strengthen the service delivery system |
 |
Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities and innovative community collaborations to enhance and expand service delivery in the community |
 |
Managing Department contracts and related documentation in a centralized contract repository including an electronic document format |
