The Program Development, Research and Evaluation Division operates within Broward County's Human Services Department.

Division Goal:

To improve human services standards of practice through a system of research, planning, submission of collaborative funding proposals, contract performance evaluation, technical assistance, training and recognition of service providers committed to excellence.

What Do We Do?

The Program Development Research and Evaluation Division’s functions include:

pdf icon Reviewing, monitoring and evaluating the administrative competence, service delivery practices and contract compliance of human services organizations
pdf icon Identifying and incorporating, through research, best practices and innovative approaches to service delivery
pdf icon Providing training and technical assistance to strengthen the service delivery system
pdf icon Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities and innovative community collaborations to enhance and expand service delivery in the community
pdf icon Managing Department contracts and related documentation in a centralized contract repository including an electronic document format
