The Office of Public and Governmental Relations is responsible for developing and coordinating the federal and state legislative program, fostering relations with municipalities and other governmental entities, and administering the board appointments of the County Commission.
MISSION STATEMENT:
To effectively promote the goals of the Broward County Commission at the Federal, State and Local levels; to increase County resources through grants and to increase public awareness of, and access to, County services, programs and activities.
