The Clerk of Courts of Broward County is a Constitutional Officer who is elected every four years. The Clerk’s duties are to maintain court records, attend trials and hearings, if required, provide intake services for domestic violence cases, and collect revenue for the Court System. The Clerk administers jury services and audits the records of guardians.

Driver’s License Information

To reinstate your driver’s license by credit card, call 954-712-7899 and select Option 3. Have your driver’s license and credit card available when you call.

The Clerk of Courts has offices at all Broward County Driver's License Bureaus and the Rick Case Honda located at Griffin Road and I-75, where you may pay a traffic citation and/or reinstate a suspended driver’s license. (See Licenses).
