The Aviation Department is a self-supporting department of Broward County responsible for the operation of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and the North Perry Airport. For the 10-year period from 1995 and 2005, FLL was one of the fastest growing airports in the US. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport offers non-stop flights to Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, and over 50 US cities.
