The three-story, 600,000-square-foot Convention Center located just south of 17th Street at the northern end of Port Everglades is owned by Broward County. Kent Ullberg’s bronze sailfish ascending fountain marks the front of the Convention Center, which is the site for conventions, trade shows, consumer shows and various special events.
