This Office is responsible for developing, fostering and improving intergovernmental communication and governmental relations. It develops, coordinates and promotes Broward County's legislative programs in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C., and interacts with local municipalities, the Broward County School Board, independent taxing authorities and other governmental entities to ensure positive intergovernmental communications. This office is also responsible for the administration of County Commission appointments to boards, agencies and authorities.
