The Division provides mortgages for single-family homes at rates generally lower than those available through banks. Homes must be located in Broward County and be the applicant's primary residence.

Community Development

Community Development provides financial assistance for housing rehabilitation and replacement housing for properties that are infeasible for rehabilitation. HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds are used for the development and/or rehabilitation of affordable housing, along with a tenant rental assistance program to benefit the low-income residents of Broward County. Loans are also available to community-based organizations and other developers for impact fees and pre-development costs incurred in developing affordable housing.
