The role of the Office of Public Communications is to improve communication between Broward County government and residents through a variety of means, including news releases on County activities, publications about County services and assistance to County agencies with their public education endeavors and special events. The office manages the County's award-winning Web site (www.broward.org) and serves as a liaison to the media.
