Vendor Registration

How to Become A Registered Vendor with Broward County

Vendors must register with Broward County in order to receive notice of current solicitations.  Vendors can register with Broward County online ONLY through our Vendor Self Service site at https://bcvss.broward.org.

If you are registering as a vendor with Broward County for the first time, go here and follow the instructions for “New Registration”. (pdf 857kb)

Prior to registering, please have the following information available:

-       Tax ID Number

-       Legal Business Name and DBA (“Doing Business As”), if different from Legal Name.  The name used should match the name on your invoices.

-       Contact Information (name, address, email address, phone, and fax number) for your Account Administrator,  Ordering/Sales location, and your Payment/Accounts Receivable location.

-       Commodity Codes which reflect the goods/services your company can provide to the county.  Go here to review a list of available commodity codes. (pdf 805kb)

-       Once you have activated your account, you can log in to the site by entering the User ID and Password you’ve established.   You can then make basic changes to your account such as address, contact information, and commodity codes.

If you are already registered as a vendor with Broward County, but have not used the VSS site, please go here and follow the instructions for “Activating an Existing Account”  (create a User ID and password).   You will only be able to activate your account if Broward County has a W-9 form on file for your company.  If the system does not accept your TAX ID number when attempting to activate your account, please send an email to BCVSS@broward.org  to request further instructions.
