What is self insurance?

Self-Insured and Self-Administered

Broward County Board of County Commissioners is fully self-insured and self
administered for Auto, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation coverages.

In lieu of providing Certificates of Insurance to verify that we are fully self-insured
a Verification of Self-Insurance letter is provided. (Click here to see sample of
