Broward County voters overwhelmingly approved the Safe Parks and Land Preservation Bond Referendum in
November 2000, and now dozens of projects have been completed or are in various stages of development.
Our children now have safer places to play and more opportunities to learn water safety. Adults and seniors have safe parks to explore and increased opportunities to maintain health and well-being. The County has successfully achieved the voter mandate to protect our natural environment for future generations.
