ESTABLISHMENT OF BROWARD COUNTY’S OVERALL DBE GOAL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009

Broward County is proposing a 24% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal for federally funded Aviation Department construction contracts and an 11% goal for federally funded Transportation Department projects. The methodologies for these goals are also available for public review for 45 days from the date of this notice at the Broward County Office of Equal Opportunity, located at 115 S. Andrews Avenue, Room 426, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Broward County will accept comments on the DBE goals for 45 days from the date of this notice. Send all comments to the attention of Chris Atkinson, Assistant to the Director, Office of Equal Opportunity, at the above address, or by fax at 954-357-6534, or via email at catkinson@broward.org.
