The Broward County Board of County Commissioners televises government meetings live on participating cable channels, and webcasts meetings live on www.broward.org. Over 507,000 cable subscribers in Broward County have access to television coverage of these meetings.
The County Commission meets in formal session the first four Tuesdays of each month at 10 a.m. in Room 422 of the Broward County Governmental Center. Live broadcasts begin at 10 a.m. each Tuesday, and are rebroadcast at 5 p.m. the following Sunday. Meetings are also webcast live at 10 a.m. each Tuesday and again at 5 p.m. each Sunday.
Other meetings that are televised and webcast include meetings of the Charter Review Commission, and the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
