Requests for an inspection must be submitted in writing, by the engineer of record. Requests must include the Broward County Highway Construction and Engineering Division or a Broward County Traffic Engineering Division Paving, Grading and Drainage number, or the plat number, whichever is applicable.

Once the inspection has been performed, a written response is sent to the engineer of record either accepting the project or identifying the deficiencies which need to be corrected.
