An MOT plan can be submitted by using the applicable 600 Series FDOT Design Standard (http://www.dot.state.fl.us/rddesign/rd/RTDS/06/2006Standards-600.htm) or the MUTCD Part 6 (http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/pdfs/2003/pdf-index.htm) which most closely represents the condition of the Right of Way the work is being performed. A sketch should accompany the 600 Series for any condition that is non typical. The submittal should include the Broward County MOT Submittal Form with all the required information included. Include the FDOT Worksite Traffic Supervisor's Certification Card with the appropriate level of certification Flagman, Intermediate or Advanced Level. Label all indexes with the roadways they represent and include a north arrow. If the project is a Broward County Project include Broward County Engineering Permit number. An MOT approval requires a minimum of 48 working hours (2 days).
