Celebrate "America Recycles Day"! Stop by our booth to sign a Pledge to Recycle and learn about the new "All-In One" recycling program. Free giveaways!

Free Wonderful World of Waste presentation (11 a.m.-noon) at the Northwest Regional Library.
Explore the value of recycling and how residential waste is disposed of in Broward County.  Participants receive prizes made from recycled materials. RSVP to 954-474-1893; walk-ins welcome. Visit our booth and Pledge to Recycle (noon-3 p.m.). Free giveaways!

Free Electronics Recycling Drop-Off at the Museum of Discovery and Science.
Dispose of used electronics for free at this all-day electronics recycling event presented by Broward County Waste and Recycling Services and Partner Cities and hosted by the Museum of Discovery and Science. Bring televisions, computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, fax machines and cell phones. Proof of Broward County residency required. Visit the 99.9 KISS Country Van, 10- 12 p.m., for a chance to win free prizes.  Prize Wheel for kids!

Recycle Mania! at Young At Art Children's Museum,
$1.00 Off Admission (11/14 only)
 when you bring a bag filled with clean recyclable items (good for up to 4 people). Environmental activities include creating cereal box sculptures, recycled fashions and logos, face painting and more. Stop by Broward County Waste and Recycling Services' booth for a free prize!

Hollywood Beach Cleanup-North Beach Park, Hollywood
Hosted by Keep Broward Beautiful and Volunteer Hollywood
Volunteers are needed to help remove litter along Hollywood Beach and Broadwalk. Minimum age for volunteering is 8, and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Call the Litter Hotline at 954-474-1835 to register. Once registered, you will receive a waiver, map and directions.

November 15, Noon-6 p.m.
It's "Broward Recycles" day at the Museum of Discovery and Science.
Explore the science behind saving the planet through energy conservation, recycling and eco-friendly management of waste. Enjoy recycling and conservation science presentations, a recycling relay race, papermaking and more.
