North Andrews Gardens Neighborhood Improvement Project

The North Andrews Gardens Neighborhood Improvement
Project (NAGNIP) encompasses 1,362 acres, 9,000 people, 3,600 homes, and 2,600
septic tanks. The planned improvements for this area include 29 miles of
roadway, 83 miles of pipe, and 23 miles of sidewalk. The
North Andrews Gardens neighborhoods were mostly constructed in the 1950's when
developers were not required to provide complete storm water drainage and
retention systems, sidewalks and landscaping. Currently, these neighborhoods are
experiencing deficiencies in all elements of the infrastructure which includes
water, sewer, drainage, roadways, sidewalks, and landscaping. The Project has
been divided into three (3) phases with eight (8) sections to allow for
efficient construction and to minimize the inconveniences to property owners.
