North County Neighborhood Improvement Project

NCNIP Map

The North County Neighborhood Improvement Project (NCNIP) includes 2,861 acres, 7,350 residences, 727 septic tanks, 425 commercial properties, and 685 light industrial, institutional, and educational land uses. The planned improvements for the area include 48 miles of roadways, 83 miles of sidewalk, and 94 miles of pipeline. The project is divided into 15 construction packages. Construction started in 1999 and is expected to be complete in 2012.

The entire project area has been divided into four quadrants: Southeast, Southwest, Northeast and Northwest. The area is bounded on the west by I-95, on the east by Federal Highway, on the south by Copans Road and on the north by NE 54 Street. These quadrants have been further divided into separate sections and each of these sections represents a construction project or bid package.

Southeast Quadrant -Cresthaven/Collier Manor

Bid Package 1	This project is complete.
Bid Package 2	This project is complete.
Bid Package 3	This project is complete.
Bid Package 4	This project is complete.
Bid Package 5	This project is complete.

Northwest Quadrant-Park Ridge/Tedder

Bid Package 6	This project is complete.
Bid Package 7	This project is complete.
Bid Package 8	Construction began January 1, 2007 and is scheduled to be completed in the 1^st quarter of 2011.

Northeast Quadrant-Pompano Beach Highlands/ Banyan Gardens
Bid Packages 9-12

Bid Package 9	Construction is anticipated to begin the 1^st quarter of 2008 and scheduled to be completed by the 4^th Quarter of 2010.
Bid Package 10	Construction is anticipated to begin the 4^th quarter of 2009 and is scheduled to be completed by the 4^th quarter of 2011.
Bid Package 11	Construction is anticipated to begin the 4^th quarter of 2010 and is scheduled to be completed by the 4^th quarter of 2012.
Bid Package 12	Construction is anticipated to begin the 4^th quarter of 2010 and is scheduled to be completed by the 4^th quarter of 2010.

Southwest Quadrant-Leisureville & Pompano Estates
Bid Packages 13-15

Bid Package 13	Construction is anticipated to begin the 4^th quarter of 2009 and scheduled to be completed by the 4^th Quarter of 2011.
Bid Package 14	Construction is anticipated to begin the 1^st quarter of 2009 and is scheduled to be completed by the 1^st quarter of 2011.
Bid Package 15	Construction is anticipated to begin the 4^th quarter of 2010 and is scheduled to be completed by the 4^th quarter of 2012.
