Riverland Village Neighborhood Improvement Project

The Riverland Village Neighborhood Improvement Project (RVNIP)
includes 230 acres, 3,175 residents, 905 homes, and 905 septic tanks. The
planned improvements are split into 3 construction packages and include 11 miles
of roadway, 5 miles of sidewalk, and 16 miles of pipeline. This project includes
the neighborhood of Riverland Village and the Chula Vista Outfall Canal.
Enhancements include new entrance signs and water, sewer, drainage, sidewalk,
paving and landscaping improvements.
Chula Vista Outfall Canal
This project
involved the installation of a seawall to armor the banks of the Chula Vista
Canal to prevent erosion once additional storm water was routed from Riverland
Village.

Riverland Village
This neighborhood is split
into two construction packages to provide upgrades to the sanitary sewer
collection system, potable water distribution system, storm water drainage,
roadways, sidewalks, and landscaping improvements in the swale areas.
