The Everglades

The Everglades Information Network is a program of library and information services in support of research, restoration, and resource management of the south Florida environment. A collaborative project of the Florida International University Libraries and Everglades National Park, with support and participation of numerous other scientific, government, library, and educational organizations, the EIN serves researchers, resource managers, educators, students, researchers, decision makers, and concerned citizens both within south Florida and around the world.

Florida Center for Environmental Studies, Researching Water Dominated Ecosystems The Florida Center for Environmental Studies represents the ten state universities and four major private universities. The center acts as a facilitator and co-ordinator of research and training related to the environment and as a locus for environmental information. Grounding its activities in the Florida sub-tropical environment, its mandate encompasses global tropical and sub-tropical environments especially the issues and problems of water dominated ecosystems.
