The Professional Standards Section of the Internal Investigations and Oversight Division is responsible for investigating complaints of malfeasance and misfeasance filed in good faith under the County's Whistle-Blower Program. The Professional Standards Section also conducts other investigations assigned by the County Administrator.
This Section assists in training County employees on the Broward County Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies in conjunction with the County Attorney's Office and the Human Resources Division.
Through the Professional Standards Section, the Office of Equal Opportunity encourages employees to serve the public and work with fellow employees with honesty and integrity in full accord with the letter and spirit of Broward County's ethics policies.
