Logo Usage Specifications
Important: DO NOT CHANGE THE COLORS, RECREATE, CROP OR EDIT THE LOGO IN ANY WAY --THE BROWARD COUNTY CULTURAL DIVISION LOGO IS COPYRIGHTED!
The entire logo is used to convey the meaning intended and avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the intended image. No part of the logo may be cropped or altered in any other way.
The logo MAY be resized, the file to download is very large, in order to accommodate many size needs, so the logo may be resized to fit a much smaller space.
The ink colors used in the 3-color logo are: PMS 109 -yellow sun; PMS 166 -sun rays & “COUNTY”; PMS 300 -bar, swish and BR WARD. Take Note: Do not change or substitute other PMS colors -they must be used "as is.”
The significance of the for Broward County Cultural Division logo is to help the viewer identify the organization, assure the viewers that they are viewing something containing a connection to the Broward County Cultural Division, and illustrates the organization's intended branding message in a way that words alone could not convey.
Because it is a logo there is almost certainly no free equivalent. Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary.
When selecting a logo format consider the end use of the logo: will it be used for print or online? Which printer will be used for final output; which process will be used, printing, silk-screening, etc? If the logo is going to be used for print work like posters, postcards, ads use the EPS file, if the logo will be used on the internet or in email format use JPEG file.
