Outpatient

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

IOP encompasses a six- to eight-week program comprised of structured group and individual sessions, with family involvement as needed. Treatment is structured into three-hour blocks of group services three times a week, with a minimum of two individual sessions each month. Family groups are available two hours each week, as needed, and include education about drug abuse, addiction and the impact on the family when a member uses drugs.

Outpatient Treatment

The focus of BARC’s outpatient program is long term recovery from drugs and alcohol and stabilization of any other co-occurring mental health disorders associated with substance abuse. The program focuses on individual recovery, improved life management skills, enhanced interpersonal relationships and involvement in community support groups.

BARC also works collaboratively with other community agencies by providing treatment services at Kids in Distress (KID).

Services for IOP and OP include:

  • Flexible schedule of day and evening meetings
  • Individual and group therapy
  • Education
  • Family Involvement Program
  • Medication Assisted Treatment

Our holistic approach to treatment focuses on the compulsive behavior that is characteristic of addiction.
