Florida House Bill No. 915  |  Commercial Service Airports


In September of 2020, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a new law impacting Florida's commercial airports. The law requires a governing body operating a commercial service airport to create and maintain a website and post for public view various items related to the operation of the airport, in this case, Broward County's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The law also creates new reporting and verification obligations, addresses training and ethical responsibilities, and imposes new procurement regulations. The Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD), which manages FLL, has created this section of the airport's website to comply with the law.
