Airport Wayfinding & Signage Upgrades

Airport Entrance Overhead Signage

FLL's Wayfinding & Signage Improvement Project is approximately 98 percent complete with the remaining installation of new overhead dynamic (digital) signs expected to completed by late 2020.  To date, more than 3,000 new parking row and walkway signs have been installed across the Cypress, Hibiscus and Palm parking garages as part of this major wayfinding upgrade. In all, more than 5,100 new and updated signs will be added across the airport's three parking garages, internal roadway system, and terminal curbside when the project wraps up. The new airport signage will provide a more comprehensive wayfinding system to better assist travelers navigating FLL's roadways, garages, and terminals.

Effective Monday, September 23, 2019, workers began replacing the existing parking row signs in FLL's parking garages as part of a major wayfinding signage enhancement project. The signage upgrades will be executed in phases starting with the Cypress Garage working one floor at a time until this area is completed. The entire signage upgrade project is expected to run for several weeks with the changeover of signs continuing in the Palm and Hibiscus garages. The Broward County Aviation Department appreciates your patience and understanding as it works to create a better airport parking experience for FLL's guests. The project is slated for completion by mid-2020.
