Recycle

Throw your paper, plastic, cans, and bottles in the recycle bins. The bins are located throughout the three garages at the elevators. 

Benefits

  • Recycling reduces pollution and contamination risks from landfills.

  • 2,500,000 plastic bottles are used every hour. Most are thrown away. Recycling a plastic bottle saves 90 percent of the energy.​




​Find an Empty Parking Space

Availability signs are located on the roadway to the parking garages. Inside the garages, signs at the beginning of the isles show the number of open spaces. In the parking lanes, green lights indicate an open space and red lights show the full spaces.

  • Reduces traffic congestion.
  • Improves traffic flow.
  • Reduces travel time, emissions, and gas usage.
  • Improves air quality.​

EV Charging Stations

There are three Tesla EV charging stations available for Curbside Valet guests only. Valet parking drop-offs are located on the Departure (upper) Level, at the curbs situated on the west ends of Terminals 1 and 4. Just ask the attendant for EV charging.

  • Low​er carbon dioxide footprint.
  • As low as 2 cents per mile of operating cost.
  • Zero emissions.
  • Three to five times more efficiently.


Tire Inflation Station

There is a free tire inflation station available for use on the west wall of the main exit plaza. This plaza can be accessed via exit ramps from the Hibiscus and Cypress Garages. If you are unable to exit via these ramps, there are mobile tire inflation units available upon request. You can call 954-359-0200 to have a unit dispatched to your car inside the garages.​

Benefits

  • Properly inflated tires increase tread life and improve fuel economy.
  • Low tire pressure increases road friction and can waste up to five percent of a tank of gas.​
