Pick-Up Options
Curbside on the Arrivals Level (Baggage Claim lower level) is for active loading of vehicles only. You cannot park at the curb and wait to pick up passengers. You should approach the Arrival's curb only when your party is waiting.
To avoid circling the airport, consider the following:
- Park in the Cell Phone Waiting Area for free until your passenger(s) arrive and claim their luggage. Have them call you when they are at the curb waiting. It is a short drive from the Cell Phone Waiting Area to all four terminals. There are flight display screens to monitor arriving flights in the Cell Phone Waiting Area. Commercial vehicles, including ride-shared ones, are not allowed in the Cell Phone Waiting Area.
- Park in the garage for free for the first 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, you will be charged the normal fee.

Arrivals/Departures Level Maximum Weight Restrictions
Maximum Weight Limit
Effective June 8, 2020, vehicles utilizing the departure (upper) level roadway will be restricted to less than 17 tons. Watch for new signage with this restriction along all main roadways leading to the airport. As a result, large charter buses, including those frequently used by cruise passenger transfer operators, will need to utilize the lower level for drop-off and pick-up passengers. BCAD's ground transportation operations plan is being updated accordingly.
