In an effort to find forever homes for older dogs, Broward County Animal Care and Adoption and The Pet Project (a local non-profit organization) have partnered to introduce a new and innovative program called “Senior Paws.”
Often senior dogs are overlooked by adopters who have concerns about the possible additional cost of caring for an older pet. However, as part of the Senior Paws program, The Pet Project group will help offset the cost of adopting a senior pet by providing food and supplies for the life of the dog once they are adopted.
Simply visit the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center and adopt one of the specially designed Senior Paw pets.
The Adoption Center is located at 2400 SW 42nd Street, in Fort Lauderdale. The Center is open for adoption Tuesday through Sunday from 11AM to 6PM.
