Love is in the Air!

Looking for unconditional love? Then look no further then one of our lovable pets this month! You can name your own adoption fee for a dog or puppy. Adoption fees on our cats and kittens are waived (including our adoptable cats at Pet Supermarket stores located in Broward County). The $20 non-refundable deposit applies to hold a stray/lost dog or cat.

All adoptions include spaying/neutering, all necessary vaccinations, a Broward County Rabies Registration License tag and a microchip!

New Animal Care WebPortal Expanded

Good news!  We have expanded our online WebPortal to now include a spay/neuter voucher program for unowned feral and community cats.

The WebPortal, which is currently used by pet owners to apply to the SNIP Program, will now allow colony caregivers or residents who care for unowned cats, the ability to go online and create a profile. Once a profile is created, the resident can add information about each cat and then apply for a voucher to have the cat(s) sterilized.

The voucher can be used at a partner veterinary clinic or at the Portable Spay/Neuter unit currently located at Sunview Park, 1500 SW 42nd Ave, in Fort Lauderdale. Additional services for the cat include a rabies vaccination and an ear-notch - the universal indication that a cat has been sterilized.

The WebPortal can be accessed at

The next Dog Smarts 101 Class, will take place Tuesday, March 14, from 6-7PM, at the West Regional Library, 8601 W. Broward Blvd., Plantation, 33324. The pet education class will teach dog owners (or anyone thinking about getting a pet), important information about dog behavior and why dogs do the things they do. This is the perfect class for anyone experiencing behavioral problems with their dog, such as barking, chewing and housebreaking issues. The class is FREE to all residents. Since this is not a dog training session, no pets will be permitted to the program.
