Mylar Submittal (Resubmittal)
These are terms people use for submittal of an original plat document. Before a plat can be approved by the County Commission, the original plat document (which is sometimes called a linen) must be submitted to the Engineering Division, Plat Section. After approval, the original is sometimes removed by the surveyor for drafting corrections. The corrected mylar is later resubmitted for review.

These are applications for development of a larger size property in unincorporated Broward County and the application is submitted at the Zoning Department. Plat Section staff is responsible for Engineering Division comments that will ensure compliance with the Broward County Land Development Code.
