Before leaving the bus, take a moment to check your surroundings and make sure you haven’t left anything behind. 

Your belongings deserve a safe journey, too!   

Although Broward County Transit is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, our dedicated Lost and Found team is committed to helping you recover your belongings. ​

We understand how important these items are to you, and we will do everything we can to assist you in finding what you’ve lost.

​You will only receive a call back if your lost item is located or if more information is needed to assist us in identifying the item. 

If your lost item is located, you will need to claim it at the Broward Central Terminal in downtown Fort Lauderdale (101 NW 1 Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, 33301)​. Items will be kept for 90 days. 

When you call to report a lost item, please provide the following information:

  • Detailed description of the lost item/s

  • Your full name with spelling

  • Daytime phone number where you can be contacted. If you lose a cell phone, please leave the number of the lost cellphone, even if you have discontinued the service

Lost and Found hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9AM to 4PM. We close for lunch between 12:30PM and 1:30PM.​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​
