​​​​​​​​On March 25, 2025 Broward County hosted the Resilience Finance Knowledge Exchange in partnership with the Resilient Cities Network, bringing together experts and city leaders from around the world.

The event, held at ​Broward County Main library welcomed delegates from the cities of New York City, San Francisco, Oakland, Miami Beach, Hollywood, and Cape Town South Africa, alongside partners from Howden, Arup and Tokio Marine. 

Topics discussed were Adopting a Portfolio-Based Approach for Resilience, Strengthening Resilience Outcomes in Urban Investments, Building the Governance Foundations for Resilience Finance, Tools & Frameworks for Risk-Informed Resilience Investments, and Unlocking Resilience Financing​.​
