Taking care of an elderly parent or loved one is a challenging and demanding undertaking. You need not go it alone. Broward County’s Elderly Services offers a free Caregiver Support Group that can help you gain a fresh perspective. The group is led by a licensed human services professional.

Learn from other participants who are coping with similar situations and discover how to make yourself a priority in the caretaking process. Benefits include:

  • Free workshops and training
  • Learn new empowerment skills
  • Connect with other caregivers
  • Get professional guidance

There are two monthly meeting options:

  • West Regional Library
    8601 W. Broward Boulevard, Plantation
    2nd & 4th Thursdays
    3-4:30PM (Conference Room 230)
  • Elderly & Veterans Services Office
    2995 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park
    2nd & 4th Tuesdays
    10:30AM – 12:30PM (Conference Room)
