Week of March 19, 2012
- Planning and Zoning subcommittee and Standardized Permitting subcommittee have started their routine coordination meetings. If interested, contact the subcommittee chairs (see committees link below). In particular, Planning and Zoning is looking for participants.
- Last update discussed Broward staff working on a status update letter to each participating partner city. Goal is for these letters to go out next week, with letters to Mayors, City Managers, and point-of-contact persons for each partner city and agency.
- Item 22 of the March 20, 2012 Broward County Board of County Commissioners Commission Meeting - the Rooftop Solar Challenge agreement - was approved.
- A kick-off meeting is scheduled for the afternoon of April 19, 2012, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Broward County Government Center, 115 S. Andrews Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale. More information about this meeting will be forthcoming - for now, please save the date.
